Sector Update: Tech Stocks Shed Early Losses To Turn Positive Monday Afternoon

Technology stocks are up again, with the SPDR Technology Select Sector ETF (XLK) up 0.5% this afternoon and the Philadelphia Semiconductor index up 0.8%.
In corporate news, Castellum’s (CTM) shares were still up 7%, retracing nearly 25% gains early Monday after the company announced plans to buy an unnamed East Coast government contractor with about $10 million in annual revenue. The cybersecurity and information technology company expects to close the deal by the end of January, subject to due diligence and a final purchase agreement, the company said.
Oracle (ORCL) edged up $0.60 this afternoon after the enterprise software company disclosed plans for a four-tranche bond offering on Monday, including bonds maturing in 2025, 2029, 2032 and 2052, as well as maturing bonds. refinancing previous loans was a $28 billion purchase of certain loans and interim funds from medical data processor Cerner Corp last June.
Shares of Palantir Technologies (PLTR) fell more than 12% after the cybersecurity company’s third-quarter earnings fell short of Wall Street’s expectations, with fourth-quarter revenue guidance of $503 million to $505 million, trailing Capital IQ .
